SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Development Manager is responsible for supporting NCADD-SFV’s fundraising, grant development, donor engagement, sponsorship cultivation, and revenue diversification initiatives. This position plays a key role in strengthening organizational sustainability and expanding philanthropic and community investment opportunities.
The Development Manager will collaborate with executive leadership, program teams, finance staff, community stakeholders, and the Board of Directors to advance the organization’s mission and strategic growth objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years of nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, or grant management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage confidential information professionally
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
PREFERRED
Experience within behavioral health, healthcare, or nonprofit sectors
Experience with donor CRM platforms
Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements
Experience supporting executive leadership and Board fundraising efforts
REQUIREMENTS
Must pass DOJ and FBI background clearance.
Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation may be required.
Driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage.
